Gokyo Ri

The Gokyo Ri Trek is an incredible alternative to the classic Everest Base Camp trek, offering equally breathtaking views but with fewer crowds. This journey takes you through the beautiful Dudh Koshi valley up to the serene and pristine Gokyo Lakes. The absolute highlight of the trek is the ascent of Gokyo Ri (5,357m), which provides a sensational panoramic vista of four 8,000-meter peaks: Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. Along the way, you will walk alongside the Ngozumpa Glacier, the longest glacier in the Himalayas, and experience the rich Buddhist culture of the Sherpa people in traditional villages like Namche Bazaar and Khumjung.
