Manaslu Circuit Trek

The Manaslu Circuit Trek is a spectacular and less crowded trekking route in Nepal, circling around Mount Manaslu (8,163m)—the eighth highest peak in the world. This trek offers stunning Himalayan vistas, diverse landscapes, and rich cultural experiences, passing through remote villages inhabited by the Tamang, Gurung, and Buddhist communities.

The trail takes you through lush forests, alpine meadows, and high mountain passes such as the Larkya La Pass (5,160m), one of the highest trekking passes in Nepal. The trek offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, cultural immersion, and physical challenge, making it suitable for experienced trekkers.

The region is a designated Restricted Area, so trekkers need special permits to enter, which helps preserve the environment and culture.

Day 01 :
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350 m) and transfer to hotel.
Day 02 :
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350 m) and transfer to hotel.
Day 03 :
Drive from Kathmandu to Barpak Village (1,900 m) – 7–8 hours.
Day 04 :
Trek to Laprak Village (2,210 m) – 7–8 hours from Barpak.
Day 05 :
Trek to Khorlabeshi (1,000 m) – 7–8 hours from Laprak.
Day 06 :
Trek to Jagat (1,390 m) – 6–7 hours from Khorlabeshi.
Day 07 :
Trek to Deng (1,900 m) – 7–8 hours from Jagat.
Day 08 :
Trek to Namrung (2,630 m) – 5–7 hours from Deng.
Day 09 :
Trek to Lho Village (3,180 m) – 5–6 hours from Namrung.
Day 10 :
Trek to Samagaun (3,550 m) – 4–5 hours from Lho.
Day 11 :
Acclimatization day at Samagaun; optional excursion to Manaslu Base Camp.
Day 12 :
Trek to Samdo Village (3,800 m) – 3–4 hours from Samagaun.
Day 13 :
Trek to Dharamshala / Larkya Phedi (4,460 m) – 3–4 hours from Samdo.
Day 14 :
Trek to Dharamshala / Larkya Phedi (4,460 m) – 3–4 hours from Samdo.
Day 15 :
Trek to Gowa (2,410 m) – 6–7 hours from Bimthang.

Farewell party with the trekking team.

Day 16 :
Trek to Tilije (2,300 m) – 1 hour from Gowa.

Drive to Kathmandu (7–8 hours). Farewell dinner in Kathmandu.

Day 17 :
Departure from Kathmandu (fly back home).

Cost Includes

  • Airport transfers pickup and drop
  • Twin-sharing/double accommodation in a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu including breakfast (Private room accommodation can be organized at an extra cost)
  • Twin-sharing guesthouse accommodation during the trek.
  • Standard meals during the trek (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) including 3 hot drinks.
  • Experienced, first-aid trained, government licensed, English or German-speaking friendly trekking guide
  • Permits for the National Park or Conservation areas and TIMS (Trekkers' Information Management System)
  • Porters during the trek for carrying Luggage l (1 porter for every 2 clients)
  • Wages, accommodation, meals, gear, insurance, and medications for all staff.
  • Drinking water on the trails using water purification tablets

  • Tips to trekking staff (Requmended $8 per person per day for the Porter, $10 per person per day for your Guide)
  • Nepal Entry Visa (Visa can be acquired easily after your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu with a fee of USD 50 for 30 days visa and USD 125 for 90 days visa)
